  30. I did some of the first real benchmarking back in the 80's and found that
  31. the boot in speed was between 4-10%....  the mean was rigth around 6%
  32. over all...

  34. i.e.  You would need to use a long processor hungry task and a stop watch to
  35. notice the diff...  In short.. it is not worth it.

  42. were found to be rather empty...

  44. No Phase 5 got the right idea when THEY came out with the BLIZZARD BOARD!
  45. That was a 14MHz processor daughter board that cached the commands at 14MHz
  46. and had its own RAM!  That was a nice little unit and much better performance
  47. could be realized (for the money)....
